I'd take a "blah" day in Paris any day.
I actually enjoy my "blah" days here too. Cozy couches, fire in the fireplace, warm soup or hot beverages to drink, baked goods, good books, family relaxed, work faraway, as much sleep as I want...Blah days are a gift.
I love overcast days, they do call for soup. Onion, perhaps?
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy a good onion soup! My current favorite, mushrooms and onions (plus or minus barley) in a hearty broth seasoned with a little fresh dill and a dollop of sour cream, is inspired by a recent visit to a Russian restaurant. Mmm, there's a chill in the air, so that sounds really good to me right now...
